北九州 小倉城 Kokura castle, Kitakyushu

   北九州市小倉のシンボルと言えば、なんと言っても小倉城でしょう。小倉の中心地に位置し、市民にも親しまれています。でも意外と中まで入った事がないという声も聞きますね。実際私も好きですが、これまで数回行った程度です。耐震工事により半年以上閉館していましたが、リニューアルオープンして初めて、約一年ぶりに行って来ました。

   館内に特に変わった様子はなく、単に耐震工事を施したという事の様ですね。

   小倉城の中は、結構楽しいんですよ。まず最初のお楽しみは小倉城、そして小倉の事をジオラマと、映像で楽しめるコーナー。そして各種展示品。展示品はほぼ撮影不可です。そしてからくりコーナー、大名気分での籠体験、からくりシアター等、お城の内部というよりは、ちょっとしたプチテーマパーク！(それは言い過ぎかな。)そして天守閣からの眺め。街中ゆえに周りは天守閣より高い建物が取り巻きますが、それでも良い眺めです。

   ぜひ小倉にお越しなら、一度中に入ってみられる事をおすすめします。ちなみにお隣の小倉城庭園、松本清張記念館とセットになったチケットがお得です。それぞれに利用期限がないので、地元の私もこれを買ってます。

    Speaking of symbol of Kokura,Kitakyushu, it would be Kokura Castle indeed. It is located on the center of Kokura, it is also familiar to citizens. Also I hear voices that but have never been entered to in unexpectedly. Actually I also like it but I have been there several times before. It was closing more than six months by the earthquake resistant work, and now it was reopened, and I went for the first time in about a year.

    It is not particularly changing inside castle, it’s just earthquake resistant work.

    Kokura Castle is pretty fun. First attraction is diorama and videos, it express a situation about Kokura Castle and town in Edo era. And various exhibits. Exhibit is shooting impossible. And mechanical doll corner, “kago” experience in lordly mood, trick theater, etc., rather than the inside of the castle, it is a little theme park! (It’s just an overstatement.) And the view from the castle tower. Therefore it’s located on the center of city,The buildings around the castle is higher than it, but still it is a good view.

    If you visit at Kokura, I recommend you to go to Kokura Castle. By the way, we can buy set special ticket for entering 3 spot,Kokura Casle, Kokura Castle Gardens, and Seicho Matsumoto Memorial Musiam. It’s low prices. And there is no expiration date, so I always buy it.
